My mom (Beth) has been crocheting for as long as I can remember. She's made so many blankets for family and friends when they are expecting a new baby. She taught me to crochet when I was in middle or high school and I made a few things (mostly scarves), but didn't pick it up again until recently. I decided to start making hats for kids at the UW Children's Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. I told my mom of the idea, and she decided to start making hats as well! We've been playing around with new patterns that we're finding, and also put some up for sale on Etsy! I'm sure most of this blog will be about our crocheting projects, but we'll also be including other DIY and craft projects that we create (:
